Energy audits (Save money; Save water and energy)

Composting

Recycling (Students sort the trash and/or recycling; Taking recycling to an off-site location and getting paid)

Eliminating paper towels, moving to hand dryers

Switching away from styrofoam

Eliminating trays in the cafeteria (Save money and water; Eliminate food waste)

Sustainable dining plans (Local food and growers; eliminate rainforest palm oil; Inviting local farmers to sell food to the students’ families; Students cooking lunch - cooking class)
